AECOM is flexible regarding working in the office or at home, but I prefer to work mainly in the office to interact with the team and others.

The flexibility is great, good working from home options and the trust to work irregular hours is great. Sometimes you are expected to work overtime if you have a hard deadline and there is no formal process to recognise this.

Usually my work hours are 40 hours per week, however during certain projects they can be between 50-55 hours. It is possible to take time in lieu though. Our team is flexible with hours as long as you make up the time.

Very flexible. My team lead understands that family comes first and overall the company is very flexible with work from home arrangements, parental leave and so on.

AECOM operates on a flexi-schedule which doesn't strictly stick to 9-5. I am able to work around post-grad university commitments with these flexible hours and find it appealing to have the option to work from home when I'd like.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
My company is flexible with the hours but at the same time very strict. As long as you put in the hours you are welcome to take shorter days and some days off from time to time. I like the fact that I work 50/50 in the office and out at field. Out at field you have more freedom to choose your own schedule and it suits me
