Your role
Job details
- The Trainee-Associate to understudy other lawyers and participate in regulatory compliance.
- Work with the commercial litigation (dispute) team.
- Join in representing clients in court, participate in negotiating, drafting or reviewing contracts, legal commentary and case reviews, and other customary roles.
- Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
- Providing considered opinions and giving legal advice.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, deeds and other legal documents.
- Assist senior associates and partners in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate agreements and documents.
- Conduct legal research on various corporate law topics and provide summaries and analyses.
- Support the team in preparing for client meetings, negotiations, and corporate transactions.
- Participate in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Help in preparing legal opinions, reports, and correspondence.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to develop legal knowledge and skills.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing case files and legal documents.
- Stay current with developments in corporate law and industry practices.
