What we’re looking for :

  • Completed or about to complete a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering 
  • An enthusiastic graduate who wants to pursue a hands-on career in Control Systems
  • Relevant exposure to systems such as DCS, Citect SCADA software, process instrumentation and PLC programming would be an advantage
  • Our ideal candidate is proactive, committed to safety and the environment and has a drive for continuous improvement and achieving the related cost and efficiency gains
  • Flexibility to travel as required

The Role 

  • Supported by our experienced technical engineering experts, this role will be based in our major sites surrounding SA with exposure to our other sites nationally to maximise your experience across the program
  • Support the maintenance of our electrical and process control systems at our major sites
  • Optimise plant performance by identifying and executing efficiency and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in reliability projects and drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations
  • Redevelop Birkenhead plant SCADA System Graphics
  • Provide electrical and control systems technical advice to production and maintenance teams
  • As part of our commitment to a greener future, Adbri has a Net Zero roadmap in place and you will have the opportunity to work on decarbonisation related projects
  • For depth of learning, rotational placements will be provided throughout the program
