Your role

You will gain hands-on experience as an intern through diverse projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed by reporting to the Project Operations Manager. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The working model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Obtain feedback from critical stakeholders involved in the new product or process improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and budget.
• Develop and maintain web-based applications for processes to improve their efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Find and pitch improvement ideas, and then execute ideas if approved into a full project.
• Document any best practices discovered and/or standards implemented.

About you

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the United States in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Interns must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
