Your role

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a Lab manager or Lab Engineer in support of Product Development activities.
  • Perform general laboratory assignments such as sample preparation, data collection, comparative analysis, and investigative research in support of product development activities.
  • Monitor the progress of assigned tasks while complying with quality and schedule requirements. Maintain detailed logs and records.
  • Use computer programs to perform various engineering operations, conduct analyses, and provide related data and information.
  • Conduct relatively routine operations and tests, compile and assimilate data, and prepare reports/graphs/charts for presentation.

About you

Qualifications for the role:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US, either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
  • Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US.
  • Completed a course in 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication skills, quick learner, self-motivated with a high sense of urgency.
  • High mechanical aptitude with the ability to use common hand tools.
