Your role
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of electrical engineers to provide design support for the NEMA Motors business.
- Design of AC (Alternate Current) induction motors for various industrial applications.
- Generation of engineering analyses according to the Electrical Engineering discipline: electrical winding design, motor test data evaluation, and electrical insulation analysis.
- Support manufacturing processes as required, and become familiar with Lean design and manufacturing principles.
- Manage own time and work activity while handling multiple projects and tasks.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
About you
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or must be actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree curriculum and 0 to 5 years of Engineering work experience; Electric motor experience a plus.
- AutoCAD and/or Solid Works experience a plus.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Dependable, professional work ethic and team player required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
