Your role

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of electrical engineers to provide design support for the NEMA Motors business.
  • Design of AC (Alternate Current) induction motors for various industrial applications.
  • Generation of engineering analyses according to the Electrical Engineering discipline: electrical winding design, motor test data evaluation, and electrical insulation analysis.
  • Support manufacturing processes as required, and become familiar with Lean design and manufacturing principles.
  • Manage own time and work activity while handling multiple projects and tasks.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

About you

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or must be actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree curriculum and 0 to 5 years of Engineering work experience; Electric motor experience a plus.
  • AutoCAD and/or Solid Works experience a plus.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Dependable, professional work ethic and team player required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
